SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) is a system that allows distributed devices in large production facilities, pipelines and infrastructure systems to be monitored and controlled through central software. At Botex System we develop applications on industry-standard SCADA platforms such as Ignition, WinCC and InTouch.

The designed SCADA systems offer real-time process visualization, trend graphs, alarm management, production reporting and historical data recording functions under one roof. Integration with different brand PLCs and devices is provided through OPC UA and Modbus protocols.

What is the difference between SCADA system and HMI?+
HMI is a touchscreen interface used for on-site control of a single machine or line by the operator. SCADA is the monitoring and control of multiple machines, lines or facilities through central computer software. SCADA generally includes HMIs and offers broader data collection, historical recording and reporting features.
How many machines and devices can a SCADA system monitor?+
Modern SCADA platforms (Ignition, WinCC, etc.) can simultaneously monitor thousands of I/O points and hundreds of devices. Systems installed by Botex System are scalable in structure; they adapt to operations of every scale from a small facility to a large factory.

Can you install SCADA compatible with my existing PLC systems?+
Yes, full integration with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider and other brand PLCs is provided through OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Profinet and Ethernet/IP protocols. SCADA system is installed without the need to replace existing equipment.
How is SCADA system maintenance done?+
