Raw Material Distribution Table

Central Feeding and Smart Distribution System

Raw Material Distribution Table

Raw Material Distribution Table, or more commonly known in industry as the Raw Material Distribution Station, is one of the most critical components of central feeding systems. These systems are used especially in large-scale facilities where many different production machines in sectors such as plastics, chemicals and food are fed from a single central warehouse.

Inputs (Raw Materials): On one side of the table are the entry points where different raw materials come (e.g. PE in Silo 1, PP in Big-Bag or mixture in Central Mixer).

Outputs (Machine Lines): On the other side of the table are the connection points of pipelines going to each production machine in the facility (Injection Machine 1, Extruder 2, etc.).

Manual Stations: The operator physically connects the desired raw material input to the relevant machine's output line using quick connection elements (quick coupling). Automatic Stations: In more modern systems, this routing is done automatically with the help of PLC control and motorized flaps/valves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions and answers about Raw Material Distribution Table

What is a raw material distribution table used for?+
Raw material distribution table is a system that enables distribution of raw materials from a central storage point to multiple production machines simultaneously or sequentially. One person can feed multiple machines.
How many machines can it be used in a line with?+
Standard models can have 4 to 16 outlet points. Custom design can be made for larger facilities. Each outlet point can be opened and closed independently, making selective distribution possible.
Can it distribute different materials at the same time?+
Multi-compartment models allow storing different raw materials in separate compartments and sending different materials to different machines. This feature provides a great advantage for facilities with high variety production.
How is installation and layout planning done?+
Botex System engineers analyse your facility's production flow and design the most efficient position of the distribution table and pipe lines. You can get free layout consultancy by sending your factory plan.
Is integration with an existing system possible?+
Yes, it can be designed to integrate with your existing silo, loader and production system. It connects to the central automation system with PLC communication protocol support (Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
